Hello crafty friends! Greetings from Dubai! This is Sana Khader here on AC Blog again. Since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, I thought of creating a pink layout featuring the Maggie Holmes Marigold collection. I love making layouts with floral die cuts and this collection is so colorful and inspiring.
To create this layout, you would need a few coordinating patterned sheets, the Lace Edge punch from We R Memory Keepers, and several ephemera and stickers from the same collection.
To begin, I punched and trimmed four strips out of the rainbow striped paper. Using both the pink sheets as the background of the layout, I adhered the strips one after the other from left to right, leaving a little gap between them.
This layout has only one photo and it is matted with two other patterned papers from the collection. After placing the photo towards the center, partially covering the last two lace edges, floral die cuts were adhered on both the top left and bottom right corners.
The Thickers, stickers, papers, and ephemera are so cute in this collection. To finish my layout, I added this title “Shine” from the gold Thickers, towards the right of my photo and wrote journaling underneath.
I also added several tiny words above and below the title so that it is incorporated into the overall design and symmetry of the layout.
I really had fun making this layout and I hope this inspires you to make one on your own! Thanks for stopping by here! Happy crafting!
