Hi friends, It’s Flóra back on the American Crafts blog with a pink set of Valentine’s Day cards. For today’s cards I used the lovely Paige Evans – Go the Scenic Route collection. I used Paper 13 for the background. I have trimmed two A2 sizes for my cards and adhered them with double-sided tape on the card base. Then I gathered all the pink and matching elements from the collection.
For the first card, I used an ephemera piece and layered it on chipboard, floral die cuts, puffy stickers, Thickers, and enamel stickers. I also fussy cut a few elements from Paper 17 and Paper 20. I really love the monochromatic look with pops of colors.
The second card was made by the same process. First I layered bigger ephemera pieces on the background patterned paper. Then I added chipboard and puffy stickers, floral die cuts, fussy cut pieces, and enamel dots. While the color palette and the supplies were the same, the result is still different!
I really love to make these cards. I wanted to show you how easy is to make a themed card even without themed products, the key is to pick the right colors, in this case pink and/or red. Just layer all the pretty goodies and voila, your Valentine’s Day cards are ready to go!
I hope you are inspired to make some handmade cards. Thanks for stopping by! Flóra
