Valentine’s Cards by Nancy

Creating Valentine's Day cards with simple, bold elements is as easy as lining up colorful strips of washing or layering patterned hearts. A white background and layers of pink, red and gold make for beautiful cards that are easy to create.

​How to: Layer five different patterns of washi tape. Use different widths for an eclectic look. Attach the sentiment from the Fortune Cookie kit to the card with a red and pink stripped Whittle clothespin. Add an "xoxo" Thickers title to the bottom of the card. Last, add heart Thicker to the text strip.

​How To: Punch eleven 1-1/2" stars from the 6×6 Valentine paper pad. Attach two rows of four hearts each with a sewing machine, leaving space in the center for a third row of tucked in hearts. Next, add a hole punch and reinforcement to a fortune cookie sentiment. Wedge the sentiment in between hearts at the bottom of the card. Add the pink "valentine" rub-on just below the hearts.
