The Best Ideas for Kids Aquarium Craft Kit by Victoria Calvin
Hello friends! It’s Victoria (@victoriamariescraps) and I am back with a really fun craft project for the kiddos in your life! If you are looking for boredom buster ideas, check out The Best Ideas for Kids Craft Kits, available at Michaels. Today I am playing with the Aquarium Craft Kit – an underwater themed kit complete with seaweed and fish!
The Best Ideas for Kids Kits come with all of the materials needed to make a craft project – just open the box and go! Pictured are all of the elements needed to make this cool aquarium craft including pipe cleaners, printed cardstock, two fish die cuts (yellow and orange), a variety of seashell die cuts, string, glue, and a black felt tip pen. What I love most about this kit is that the box is designed to be used as the fish bowl – how cool is that!
Simply follow the instructions that are included with the kit and have fun! This craft project is recommended for kids ages 5 and up and is really easy to put together. First, punch out the fish bowl shape directly from the box and adhere the side flaps using the provided liquid adhesive. Next, add the blue water cardstock to the background of the box and glue it into place. Once the background is in place, add the googly eyes to the fish and draw a little smile on each fish with the black felt tip pen provided with the kit. Lastly, add the glitter strip of gold cardstock (sand), the seashells, and the pipe cleaners (seaweed) to the bottom of the aquarium. Using tape, adhere a piece of string to the fish and hang them from the top of the aquarium.
And with that, you have a really cool aquarium with fun dangly fish! Don’t forget to display this fun piece art for all to see and enjoy! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out these awesome kits, now available at Michaels (in-store or online).
