Thanksgiving Week Layout by Nancy

TIP: Using large die cuts is a simple way to create a dramatic background. It's my go-to design aesthetic when I want to tell a themed story.

How To: Cut six feathers in various sizes ranging from 9 to 5 inches from different patterned papers. Layer across a sheet of white 12×12 cardstock gluing only the center of the feathers so the edges lift a bit. Place a 4×4 photo under a feather on the lower right side. Tuck an envelope die-cut just behind the photo and layer a leaf wood button on top of the photo. Cut a strip of black and white patterned paper to edge the bottom of the layout. Layer a strip of gold foil washi tape over the striped paper. Layer white foam title on top of the feathers. Add a stamped date, journaling and black paint mist.
