Hello everyone! Soraya here to share a fun way to document your spring plans and take note at the same time in a colorful notebook made with the gorgeous Go the Scenic Route collection by Paige Evans. This is a simple structure made with one patterned paper folded in five parts. Inside the notebook there is one pocket where you can slide tags and labels and a note pad made like a MemoryDex.
For the cover, I fussy cut some butterflies from one of the collection patterned papers and added some stickers to create a balloon bouquet. I also used some pink thread to attach each butterfly to the backpack (I’ve fussy cut this one as well).
When you open the notebook, on the left you have a pocket made with the same paper of the inner structure. You can add tags, tickets, to-do lists, photos, etc. To give more dimension to the tags, I added colorful corners with the Photo Corner Punch by We R Memory Keepers.
Then I decided to go with a special pen section in the middle of the structure by adding a paper strip with the glue gun. The strip that holds the pen has to be wider than the center piece of the notebook. I decorated the pen with a gorgeous little charm from the collection and added a little star on top.
Concerning the MemoryDex notepad, I used the Disc Power Punch by We R Memory Keepers to punch the perfect holes on a white cardstock. I placed it directly on the structure then added the discs. Then I could easily add more papers/cards and decorated them with the embellishments of the collection.
And that is how I made my Spring Plans notebook! I’m so happy with the result and I can’t wait to fill it with photos, memorabilia, and Easter souvenirs! Here are more photos and details:
I hope you had fun joining me for this new colorful project! Have fun creating everyone and until next time!
