How to: Start with a piece of 12×12 white cardstock for the base of the layout. Using another piece of white cardstock, cut strips slightly larger than your circle punch. Punch holes across these strips, then adhere them to the white base and machine stitch the edges. Use a variety of patterned paper circles, stickers, Thickers and other embellishments to fill in the negative circle spaces. Using foam adhesive, adhere the photo. Embellish with stamps or stickers. Adhere the title. Add journaling strips and other finishing touches.
Short bio: Hello there! My name is Jennifer and live in Iowa with my husband Adam and two kids, Keira (6) and Connor (3). I work full time as a Quality Improvement nurse, but after the kids are in bed you can usually find me scrapping. I primarily create 12×12 layouts and pocket pages. I have been scrapbooking since 2006 and literally cannot imagine my life without it! Other than scrapbooking, I love to cook and practice my photography. I can't function without coffee and I have an embarrassing typewriter obsession. I am excited and honored to be designing for American Crafts, this is truly a dream come true!
Favorite thing to scrap: It's a tie between pocket pages and 12×12 scrapbook pages
Favorite American Crafts product: The embellishments – American Crafts has such unique and detailed ones in all their lines.
