Location: Oldenburg, Germany
Short bio: My name is Janna Werner, I am a designer and freelance writer who also teaches papercrafting (online) classes. I live in Oldenburg, Germany, together with my Danish husband Jesper, our dog Sindri, two rabbits and a few goldfish. My love for papercrafts and mixed media art evolved in 2010 when a friend of mine introduced me to scrapbooking. I just released my first book "Paper Art" which includes scrapbooking layouts, mini albums, art journaling pages and mixed media projects. Oh – and I looove Instagram 🙂
Favorite thing to scrap: Scrapbooking pages, mini albums and gift wrappings. I love decorating match boxes, the smaller the better 🙂
Favorite American Crafts product: You seriously ask me to narrow it down to one product? Definitely not possible! I am a huge fan of the ZING embossing powder, ZAZZ glitter glue and WOW glitter/SPARK tinsel – guess I have a thing for all things glittery. Besides that I like the date and word stamps and patterned papers, especially the Dear Lizzy and Amy Tangerine collections. Please excuse my cheating on the question 😉
5 fun facts:
1. I have three forenames: Janna Berit Neele. If I'd been a boy my name would've been Jan Hendrik Steffen.
2. It took me 2 weeks to find the right name for our dog (he is called Sindri, I named him after the singer Bjork's son).
3. I never leave the house without a tissue.
4. I get nervous when I need to talk in front of many people, although I have been doing this a lot of times.
5. I am super tidy, but my work space is a total chaos.

"Although my handwriting is rather straight and aligned, I use a pencil to mark my journaling spots. Use a white eraser to make sure, that there will be no marks of it after erasing the pencil lines."
