Soap and Jewelry Trays by Lisa Fonseca
Hi crafty friends, it’s Lisa back on the blog and today I’m sharing a super fun and glittery project. Using the amazing Color Pour Resin products, I created two cute little trays to hold your soap, jewelry, or other little bits and pieces. I think they turned out so pretty and girly.
To create any Color Pour Resin project, you’ll need:
- A silicone mold
- Glitter, crushed glass, dye colors, pigments, clay shapes, etc. to pour into your resin
- A container to mix your resin in
To start, mix the two components of the resin, using the same amount of each. Mix for 3 minutes and add all the good and glittery stuff 😉 Then you can pour it into your mold. Make sure the mold is filled up to the very top! Let dry for 24 hours and then remove from the mold.
For my project, I wanted to use subtle, cute and girly colors. For the white tray, I used holographic glitter and I also added some duochrome pigment from my stash. I think it turned out so cool and I love how it looks with the gold jewelry on it.
For the pink tray, I used silver stars, silver glitter, and also added some pink pigment. I love how it looks. You can create these trays for anything you’d like. You can also make one as a gift to give someone, which I think would be a super adorable and special gift.
What I like about the resin, is that when it comes out of the mold, it’s sooooo shiny and smooth… love it!
I hope you like this little project and are inspired to create a little tray too! Happy crafting, see you soon!
