Diana Waite made a mini album using Polka Dot Party and she's here to tell us how to make one just like it!
Supplies: White (7108) – Cardstock, Veneer set (366204) – Embellishments, Adhesive Flowers (366203) – embellishments, Accent & Phrase Stickers (366196)- Stickers, Epoxy Stickers (366198) – Stickers, Die Cut Frames (366199) – Polka Dot Party, Large Tags (366206) – Polka Dot Party, Ribbon (366193) – Polka Dot Party, Printed Chipboard Shapes (366205) – Polka Dot Party, 6×6 Paper Pad (366214) – Polka Dot Party, Label Stickers (366197) – Polka Dot Party, Cordial (366187)- Thickers, Christmas Silver Pigment Ink (59536) – Ink
1. Gather supplies which for me included pop dots, (2) 12×12” sheets of white cardstock, bone folder, ink, embellishments, Thickers, 6×6 paper pad from the Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party line.
3. Using the bone folder, fold each piece of cardstock in half.
4. With each piece of cardstock folded in half, adhere them together along the ends with a strong adhesive (I avoid using liquid adhesive as it tends to wrinkle the paper) – it should resemble an accordion.
5. With your album assembled distress the edges lightly with ink.
6. Select eight sheets of patterned paper from your 6×6 paper pad and cut each down to 4 3/4” square.
7. Assemble each page BEFORE adhering it to the background. (I do this so that if I would like to sew on the page I don’t have to worry about sewing through on the other side.)
8. With your pages assembled arrange them in the order that you would like them to appear in your album.
9. Adhere your pages to your album by placing them in the center of the accordion page.
These little minis are SO fun, quick, and easy to put together!
