Becki Adams

Short bio: My name is Becki Adams. I live in a small town in Idaho, it's the potato capital of the world. Strangely enough, though, I don't eat potatoes. My husband Justin and I are parents to 3 beautiful children. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom. My days are spent surrounded by children and creating whenever I get a chance. My passion for scrapbooking really started after I had my oldest son in 2001. Since then scrapbooking has become a lifestyle for me and my family. I am passionate about papercrafting and it's more than a hobby to me. It's a creative release as well as a way of preserving memories for my loved ones.

How did you get started scrapbooking? I got started scrapbooking in high school when my Home Economics teacher gave me an assignment to create a scrapbook documenting some events throughout the year.

What is your favorite American Crafts product? Thickers and patterned paper.

YOU MAKE ME HAPPY by Becki Adams

There isn’t a piece of cardstock to be found on this layout. By using a smaller print pattern under the title and using a strong clear photo on top of the busy background all of the elements in this layout can clearly be seen.

Using scraps to make cards is one of my favorite ways to use my patterned paper stash. By cutting the paper into strips and adhering them diagonally makes an eye catching background.
