They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, colors and patterns, they're made of metal… I'm talking about paper clips! This week we'll share some fun and unique ways to use this little embellishment! Heather Leopard (Blog: Heather Leopard | Instagram: @heatherleopard | Pinterest: @heatherleopard | Twitter: @heatherleopard) starts us off with a stunning layout:
Supplies: Rise & Shine collection: (370018) – Sophia Transparent Paper, (370022) – Monroe Paper, (370017) – Samantha Paper, (370041) – Bits Die Cut Tags, (370054) – Chipboard Frames, (370034) – Remarks Epoxy Stickers, (370032) – Remarks Accent & Phrase Stickers, (370027) – Grace Foam Stickers
How to: Pick a favorite photo from each of your destinations. Print them small so you can fit several on a page. I printed two of mine 2×3" and the other 3×3" to fit in the frame. Next, determine their placement by getting them somewhat close to where they are on a map. Obviously, you will have to adjust to fit your page, as I did. Next, layer bits, pieces, tags, die cuts, and the like, under each photo. Stitch the route from one destination to the next, using different colored embroidery floss for each leg of the trip. Attach paper clips where the destination begins and ends. Lastly, add your title and journaling. My destinations are identified with numbers that match the order of cities at the bottom right.
