New Year’s Planner by Erica Fields

Hello crafty friends! It’s Erica here on the American Crafts blog sharing a DIY Planner for the New Year! It’s time to get organized. At the start of the year we all have New Year’s Resolutions we want to put in place. For me it’s writing things down and making my to do list so I don’t forget anything. If you are a busy mom like me, you know how hard it is to remember all the little things.

To create this planner I chose the Maggie Holmes Marigold collection. I cut my papers to 8.5 in. x 5. I made a front and back cover and three dividers. I also used my laminating machine to laminate my cover and dividers.

Once I cut and laminated all my pages I used the WRMK Disc punch to punch the slots for the disc-bound planner I wanted to create. I love that the disc punch is so EASY to use! It punched right though the laminate with no problems at all! I used some of the Marigold ephemera and stickers from the collection to decorate my planner pages. I also used some pre-made grid paper to insert between pages.

To decorate my planner further I used a metal die set to die cut out the “To Do” list and Today bookmark. I also used metal dies to create tabs for my planner. I used the WRMK punch board to create the “plans” page flag. You can easily customize your planner with the Word Punch Board.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I hope that you are inspired to create your own planner and that this will give you some motivation to get it done in 2021! If you would like more details & a closer look at this planner, stop by my YouTube channel HERE . Cheers & Happy New Year!
