Gratitude Wall Hanging by Eva Pizarro

Hello everyone, it’s Eva on the blog today and I am happy to share with you a gratitude project for the entire family.

I always try to find ways to remember giving thanks and I think this is a great idea! I am sure the kids will love it. You can leave it all year long and read all those wonderful things you are grateful for whenever you need to. For this project I used the lovely Marigold collection by Crate Paper, the designs and color are perfect for this fall-inspired wall hanging. I started by finding a stick from my backyard and attaching strings of twine. Next, I punched frames with the Frame Punch Board and added a few pictures.

I decorated my frames with stickers and chipboard. The banners are my favorite ones!

After that, I cut a few leaves with an electronic cutting machine. All the members of the family can write a few things they are grateful for and then hang them on the strings during a week or a month. Bend the leaves a bit to give them more dimension.

I also added a few chipboard shapes to the strings. They are sticky on the back so they attach easily.

To hang the leaves and pictures you can mix the gorgeous clothespins from the Marigold collection and some small ones.

I really liked making this project. It was fast and easy and if you don’t have an electronic cutting machine you can cut the leaves by hand.

Thanks for joining me today and have a great day!
