“Good Times” Mini Album with StoryTeller by Soraya Maes
Hello everyone! Soraya Maes here to share a beautiful mini album made with the gorgeous Storyteller collection by Vicki Boutin. Among all the awesome papers, stickers, and ephemeras of the collection, there are also some amazing stencils! I wanted to include them in this mini book because their designs are so graphic and aesthetic!
To make the cover, I decided to go with this beautiful word pattern. I used some washi tape from the collection to place the stencil on it. First I drew some colors directly on the stencil with three crayons. Then I used the Dauber Bottle from WeR Memory Keepers to spread the pigments everywhere – the watercolour effect is just so good!
To add more dimension to the cover, I used the pink texture paste and another beautiful stencil. The Art Wedge helped me spread the paste and look at this nice result!
I fussy cut the pretty butterflies from the “Mariposa” paper with my electronic machine and used the biggest one to embellish the cover of the mini album.
Here is another tip to use the stencils from Storyteller collection: after the technique with crayons and water with the Dauber Bottle, use a thin black marker to recreate the shapes of the stencil! So fun and so easy to add more depth to your design!
Now it’s time to show you the whole mini album I made about our trip to Le Pont du Gard, a very famous place in Southern France with this amazing Roman construction! Let’s go!
I hope you had fun joining me with this new mini album made with the gorgeous Storyteller collection! If you have a story to tell you definitely want to scrapbook with Storyteller! Have fun everyone and until next time!
