Go the Scenic Route Mini Album by Eva Pizarro

Hello everyone! It’s Eva Pizarro on the blog today sharing a quick tutorial on how to create a mini album with the Go the Scenic Route collection by Paige Evans.

This mini album is very small, just 2,5 x 2,5 inches and it is made with just one piece of paper! My inspiration for the mini was this piece of paper with lots of designs! I started by cutting the pink lines and scoring all the blue lines.

As you can see, I only used 3 rows of squares. You can make it even bigger if you follow the same technique and use the entire page. After you have cut and scored the lines, you should end up with something like this.

Next, glue the pages making sure you only add adhesive on the back of this patterned paper.

If you want, you can add some ribbon to embellish the side of the mini album before you glue the first and last page.

The base of the mini is ready, now you just need to add photos and embellishments! The Go the Scenic Route collection has lovely florals and designs and it is perfect to scrap your family trips or your last summer adventure!

I mixed die cuts and chipboard shapes. I also used many enamel flowers and hearts. They are perfect for this small mini album.

I also created some pockets to add extra photos. To do this, you simply need to glue 3 sides of the page when you are creating the base of the mini instead of 4.

To add a bit of texture to some of my die cuts, I used my Foam Mat from WeR Memory Keepers and my piercer to create small holes and then stitched it with a matching thread.

The charm was the perfect touch to finish a small but colorful book. I really enjoyed making this mini album! Thanks for joining me today and have a great day.
