Short bio: My name is Natalie Elphinstone and I live in sunny Australia with my ever supportive stay-at-home husband and our two gorgeous girls aged 7 and 4. I work full time as a doctor specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology which can be a little intense at times so I love to unwind by heading to my scrap room and playing with some paper and paint. I think the creative process is so therapeutic! But more importantly I love that I’m the memory keeper of the family and you’ll always find journaling on my layouts as I try to preserve the story. Right now I’m honoured to be named as one of the Australian Scrapbooking Memories Masters for 2014 and blessed to be designing for Studio Calico as well as being a Jenni Bowlin Studio Ambassador.

How did you get started scrapbooking? I started dabbling in scrapbooking when I was at home with my first daughter in 2007, but it was another couple of years before I discovered the wonderful world of online shopping, blogs, conventions, forums, kit-clubs, and manufacturers. I’ve never looked back since!

What is your favorite American Crafts product? There are some core AC products that I’ll never be without such as the cardstock, This to That adhesives, and Precision Pens. And my all-time favorite collection has to be Amy Tangerine Sketchbook with it’s delightful mix of watercolours and doodled designs. Love it to bits!!
