Hello friends! I might be biased, but I think that we have THE best furry friend in the world! Ok, so I’m sure all pet owners say that right? But today I’d love to share a layout I created about our family pet, our dog Leela.
I used Shimelle’s newest collection Go Now Go on this layout. I knew I wanted to use the chipboard frame from the chipboard sticker sheets to highlight my photo. I then used my favourite technique of building layers of patterned paper and embellishments under and around my focal point photo.
I used some of the softer patterned papers in the collection. After all, my dog is a girl! Lol! Any excuse to use pink right?
For my title I used a chipboard word from the Dear Lizzy Saturday collection as I wanted it to be bold! And adding it right up alongside my photo draws more attention to the centre cluster.
I think my favourite items in the Go No Go collection are the gorgeous puffy heart stickers! They seem to add the perfect finishing touch to any layout and you get such a variety in the package! I’m yet to find a project they don’t work on!
Pairing an older photo with a current story is a winning combination in my eyes! Creating this layout has reminded me though that I haven’t taken any recent photos of our faithful furry friend!
Our pets are such an important part of our family stories!
