Floral Gift Tags

Welcome to floral week on the blog! Let’s start with some beautiful gift tags that are simple to create and can dress up the plainest of gift bags. Starting with a clean white background, creates a great canvas for a pop of color with Dear Lizzy’s Happy Place.


SUPPLIES:  Dear Lizzy Happy Place Patterned Paper (373651) – Aruba, (373656) – Darling Daisy. Dear Lizzy Happy Place Acetate (373662) – Say Yes. Dear Lizzy Happy Place (373670) Mini Phrases and Alpha. Dear Lizzy Happy Place (373668) Sticker Sheet. Dear Lizzy Happy Place (373671) Acetate and Cardstock Ephemera. Shimelle Starshine (374059) – Flair Buttons. Shimelle Starshine (374052) Cardstock Stickers.


How to:  1. Cut three tag bases (2×5) out of white cardstock. Add machine or hand sew edge. 2. Punch hole in center of each tag, add reinforcement and string). 3. Using an electronic die cutting machine cut three different flower shapes from white cardstock, and Aruba and Darling Daisy patterned papers. Keep cuts close to 2-3” in size. 4. Add light pink flower to bottom of tag. Place mini flair button in center and layer leaf under flower. Attach chipboard saying and star chipboard to top of tag. 5. Cut out “I must have flowers” from patterned paper and place on bottom half of tag. Add white flower and hot pink center to the top. Place leaf sticker just under the flower. 6. Add strip of Yes acetate paper to bottom of tag, leaving a space for the label sticker. Add hot pink flower to the acetate.
