Hi everyone, Nancy here today with the new Shimelle collection, Go Now Go. While this collection is perfect for scrapbooking your travel memories, I wanted to try to use it for more of an everyday moment. And it worked! I love when collections are easily used for many different themes (or non themes). To highlight the bold colors in Go Now Go, I based the layout on white so they would shine. The detailed heart stitching is a beautiful frame for a title and photo, while the patterned paper and chipboard icons add a punch of color and design.
How To: 1. Use an electronic die cut machine to cut the "LOVE" title out in the lower right half of the white yardstick. 2. Sketch a large, titled heart and stitch with white embroidery floss. 3. Back each title letter with a different patterned paper, tucking in chipboard shapes and puffy heart stickers. 4. Add photo and strips of journaling. 5. Add chipboard globe, enamel wood dot and tiny enamel dot and star in a cluster just around the photo. 6. Attach two thin trips of patterned paper at the top left corner of the layout. 7. Sprinkle a few drips of yellow paint shimmer at the top left corner.
