DIY Christmas Wreath by Lucile Peignon

Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile! Today we are going to do a DIY. I love Christmas decorations and my little pleasure during the month of December is to create decorations for my house. So we are going to create a Christmas wreath to hang on our door, let’s go!

To begin with I chose my papers. I used papers from the Hey Santa collection by Crate Paper, it is perfect for Christmas! I chose the classic red and green combo, adding a touch of pastel colors. I used my Cricut cutting machine to cut out all of the foliage from my wreath. If you don’t have a cutting machine you can draw and cut your leaves. To create my wreath I used a gold ring on which I stuck my foliage, alternating colors. I used a hot glue gun to make attaching the leaves easier.

Once I was happy with my composition, I pulled out embellishments from the Hey Santa collection. I stuck chipboards on my wreath and added pine branches.

Then I wanted to make a title. I cut out a pennant with my Cricut and then filled it with white paper. I used the alphabet and phrase stickers from the collection to write Magic Christmas.

Finally, to add a little touch of Christmas magic, I wrapped a light garland around my wreath, I love the effect! I hope you enjoyed this DIY to make a Christmas wreath with the Hey Santa collection!
