Create a Classic Mother’s Day Layout

Hi American Crafts fans! It’s that time of the year where we celebrate mothers and womanhood! In honor of the day, I dedicated my latest scrapbook layout to my Mom. For this project, I used the Girl Power collection by Damask Love. This collection great for creating girly things. I love the combination of light and vibrant colors, the beautiful flowers and all the cool images. It was love at first sight!

I used the Getting Lippy paper for the background because the pink shade is stunning. First, I fussy cut lovely flowers from Floral Female paper. Next, I arranged the oversized florals on the left side of the page. I picked two 3×4 photos and added them in the middle. On some of these florals, I used puffy tape in order to add some volume to the layout.

Under the photos, I placed a glitter title. I found these alpha thickers in my stash, but they perfectly fit the Girl Power collection. The shiny touch adds a great accent to the page as a whole!

On the right side of the page I made cute clusters using die cuts, puffy stickers and elements from the Project Pad. Some of the pieces have a gold foil finish, which I love! This collection has so many fun icons!

Are you making any Mother’s Day paper crafting projects? I think Mother’s Day is a great excuse to spend some time in the craft room. I hope you like today’s inspiration! Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!
