Colorful Week

Using scraps of patterned paper is a fast and easy way to add a punch of color to your layouts. When layering different patterns remember to choose a good mix of large-scale and small-scale designs. It keeps it interesting!

How To: 1. Handcut a variety of rectangle shapes from brightly colored patterned paper. 2. Start layering at the very bottom of the layout and adhere each scrap at the top, layering as you go. 3. Layer a wide strip of white card stock at the top of the design so that the photo doesn't become lost amongst all that pattern. 4. Using an electronic die cutting machine, cut palm leaf and white flower designs. Use a Dear Lizzy wood button for the center of the flower. 5. Last add journaling and layer the Thicker title over the photo just under the journaling.
