Christmas Pillow Boxes

Hiya! Jamie here and I love wrapping presents! I know it’s kind of silly since the wrapping just ends up getting thrown away. But to me, it’s almost as fun as giving the present! This year I bought the same present for several people, so wrapping them couldn’t have been easier.

I decided to create pillow boxes using the All Wrapped Up collection. It was quick and simple to cut a bunch of these using my digital die cutter. I slipped in the present (a strand of beads made by women in Africa, all proceeds of which go to support them as entrepreneurs!) with some white crinkle paper and then closed the edges.

At Christmas time I’m kind of known for my layered dangly tags. I love adding lots of different bits and pieces to the same string. They’re just so fun and festive I think!

I started by using the Merry Christmas stamp and gold metallic embossing powder. I stamped on white cardstock over and over again and then cut out small tags. Then I added a wood veneer Christmas tree to this layer. The second piece was a postage stamp that I cut out of the patterned paper. The third layer is a circle I punched out of white cardstock and stamped “Do not open until 25 December”. I ran the edges in red ink to add more color. I strung them all together using baker’s twine and included one gold sequin to each.

They seem really involved but they couldn’t have been easier to put together. And they look so fun all piled together in this cute wire basket. They’ll look gorgeous tucked under the Christmas tree. I can’t wait to hand them out!
