Christmas Cards Week: Cards by Nancy

Keep holiday cards by creating them in batches with pre-made embellishments. Handmade doesn’t have to mean time consuming.

How to (Joy Card): Using a  white card base, cut patterned paper to 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 size and glue to the front. Be sure to keep the red “Merry Christmas” text so that appears on the front top of the card. Next add a glittered dimensional red star to the center. Place a black “JOY” title just under the star.  How to (Merry Christmas card): Using a white base card, cut a 1” strip from the red strip patterned paper and adhere to the bottom edge of the card. Next, use a large white snowflake doily to the center of the card. Layer a gold rimmed tag from the DIY Shop 3 collection, gold clothespin and letter “M” to the center of the card. Last, tear a piece of the “Merry Christmas” washi tape and center at the bottom of the card.
