Every year I look forward to the new year and all of the opportunities and fresh beginnings that it brings. I love scrapping about the New Year so that I can look back at what was happening at that time in our lives.
For this New Year's assignment, I decided to scrapbook about all of the exciting things that are happening in our lives right now. I took this photo of my kids at Christmas, it is amazing to see how much they have changed and grown since last year.
To create my layout I used a chevron cut file for the background. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out my background from white cardstock then I placed pieces of patterned papers from the Dear Lizzy Saturday collection behind some of the chevrons, leaving others open because I love white space.
I placed a photo of my kids behind part of the cut file and then made my title using thicker words and letters. To finish my layout I printed some simple journaling and added it to my page.
How do you scrapbook your New Year's?
