12 Month Gratitude Journal by Sana Khader

Hello crafty friends! Cheers to a fantastic year ahead ! It’s Sana Khader (@zannist) back on AC blog with a NEW YEAR project idea.

Today I am going to show you a gratitude journal, a new year gift that I’ve made for myself to document the things that I am most grateful for in every month. It’s extremely simple to start: jot down a few words and paste photographs of the things you are most grateful at the end of every month.

To create the base of the journal, I used thick chipboard and a paper from the stunning ‘Go the Scenic Route’ collection by Paige Evans. Cut out three rectangular pieces of chipboard with two of them measuring 6×2 inches and the largest piece 6×8 inches. Then grab your favourite patterned paper from the same collection and adhere the three pieces to it, leaving a little gap of 2-3 mm between each chipboard piece.

After we are done with the base, we need to cut out the pages for the journal. I grabbed 6 different sheets from the same collection to create the pages where each sheet represents two adjacent months. That is, you will have the first paper of the journal to document the moments of the first two months- Jan and Feb and the last sheet for Nov and Dec.

The height of each sheet has to be 3 inches more than the one above it with the width being the same (8 inches) for all. Score all the sheets at half inches and adhere them to the chipboard base one after the other.

I then finished off the journal with die cuts, stickers, charms, and embellishments from the collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by ! See you all very soon!
