One of the staples of scrapbooking, patterned paper comes in infinte numbers of, well, PATTERNS! This week we'll be showing off all kinds of American Crafts patterned papers, using at least 10 different designs on each projects. Paige Evans (Blog: Paige Evans | Instagram: @paigetaylorevans | Pinterest: @paigeevans | Twitter: @PaigeTEvans) is excited to kick off this week because it's her favorite scrapbooking supply!
Supplies: Cardstock (71081) – White, Serendipity (369205) – 12×12 Paper Pad, (369206) – 6×6 Paper Pad, (369210) – Gold Foil Mini Alpha Stickers, (369211) – Gold Foil Sticker Sheet, (369213) – Puffy Stickers, (369214) – Printed Sticker Roll, (369215) – Enamel Dots, (369218) – Die Cut Shapes, (369220) – Die Cut Watercolor Paper Words; Other: Silhouette CAMEO, Doily cut file Flower Rosette by Jamie Koay (Design ID #10909)
How to: Die cut the Flower Rosette by Jamie Koay (Design ID #10909) from white cardstock using a Silhouette CAMEO die cut machine, then back each section with patterned paper using dimensional adhesive. That whole process took about three hours but I just love doing this technique – I don't mind it, in fact, it helps me relax! Place a trio of photos across the center and embellish with puffy & paper stickers, a heart and a butterfly die cut, "ever" watercolorable word die cut placed below and "best" letter stickers above, journaling spot, tags, and more. Place color-on-color enamel dots around the doily. Drop blue spray mist across the layout. Stamp the date in black ink and journal with a black pen on the ends of the photos.
The fun continues tomorrow with a fabulous tutorial!
